Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ who was born on October 27, 1983, in Adana is a Turkish actor and former model. He was born to a mother from Edirne and a father of Bosnian origin from Adana. He made a name for hisself with the Best Model of Turkey and then the Best Model of the World selection in 2002.
Tatlıtuğ, who first portrayed the character of Mehmet in the TV series Gümüş, then played the character of Halil in the TV series Menekşe and Halil. He then acted in the series Aşk-ı Memnu, adapted from Halid Ziya Uşaklıgil's novel of the same name. He shared the lead role with Beren Saat in the series in which he played the character of Behlül.
